Bring TED to your classroom with TED-Ed Clubs!

"TED-Ed Clubs is a flexible, school-based program that supports students in discussing, pursuing and presenting their big ideas in the form of short TED-style talks." Source: Ted-Ed Clubs Site
The Daniel Wright club meets weekly after school and are making great progress. They're quickly creating connections with other Ted-Ed clubs around the world, from Chicago to France. It also looks like some digital collaboration is occurring, and they're meeting with other clubs via Skype. The students are discussing topics such as:
  • Individualizing school activities
  • Taking opportunities offered in life
  • Grammar awareness
  • Discrimination and mental illness
Check out their Twitter feed for more about what they're doing, read about the club's achievements via Jimmy Juliano's blog post, and watch this YouTube video from Ted-Ed to learn more about clubs.

"
